Our Parish

Our school is blessed to be part of the Glen Osmond/Parkside Parish.

We are within walking distance of St Raphael's Church, and this is where we celebrate our whole school and class Masses. We also visit the Monastery at St Paul's Catholic Church Urrbrae, throughout the year, as part of our Mercy Week celebrations and staff and student retreats.

We support our Parish by our involvement with outreach to St Vincent de Paul Society and The Brother Michael Christmas Hamper Appeal as well as other major events in the religious calendar.

Our Passionist priests, led by Fr Denis Travis cp are welcoming and relational by nature. They enjoy spending time with our learners and educators and are regular visitors to our school to lead Liturgies and Masses, present talks on the learning occurring in each year level's Religious Education curriculum, support the Sacramental program and join us for school events and celebrations. Our Pastoral Associate, Sue Schulz, is also a familiar face around our school supporting all religious activities and assisting with pastoral support of our families as required.

Catholic students who choose to prepare for and celebrate the Sacraments are invited to be involved in the program that is parish based, family-centred and school supported. We work closely with our Parish in facilitating the sacramental program to support parents in the preparation of children for the Sacraments. Our Catholic Identity as a school is strengthened by our close partnership with our Parish and we truly cherish this special relationship.
